How on earth am I expected to go back to work after a lunch like this. Obviously, its a pulled pork sandwich on a behemoth toasted bun w/ hot crisp onion straws. At the top of the plate is a horseradish slaw that offered a tart bite and the beans were a great bbq addition. The kicker was the small cup at the bottom of the plate. A small side of mac and cheese. With the exception of the lettuce, a simple misplayed afterthought, the craftsmen of this particular sandwich got many things right. A large toasted bun with an equally large helping of pork and onion straws is a great framework for a sandwich any day. But today the small scoop of mac and cheese was king. It really tied the sandwich together.
